What do Contra, Mortal Combat 3, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 3 all have in common? They all use the same cheat code: Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, B, A, Start. This my dear friends and nerds is the famed Konami code that has been used throughout the ages for the procurement of extra lives and power-ups.

It is also a code used to this day for unlocking easter eggs in software and newer video games. Really it is probably worth trying this code on anything you possibly can. Nerds make everything we use, and nerds love this code.
