Tofu is fine and dandy when it behaves itself and acts like what it is: bean curd. However, lately tofu has been going through an identity crisis and seems a little bit confused as to where it stands on the food chain.

Making tofu into turkey is a thoughtcrime. If you don’t know what a thought crime is then maybe you need to re-read that battered old copy of Orwell’s 1984 to refresh your mind.

Turkey is meat. Turkey is murder. Tofu is bean. Tofu is life. The two should not be confused with one another, regardless of how tasty Tofurkeys can be!
